Your Answers
The other day I proposed that you could only listen to one musical artist/group/band for the rest of your life. You would of course get their entire discography-anything they recorded you would have.
These are your answers:
-
dustbin3 answered: Counting Crows of course, because Adam is in my soul, Pantalones. Also, I love you. -
veronicles answered: Tom Waits. Because I cannot live without him. -
girlperson answered: talking heads because jesus christ, david byrne. or radiohead. or devo. or your mom. damn this is hard. -
skyeg answered: red hot chili peppers. they’re the chili peppers … can’t explain it/do i need to? lol -
thegreg answered: Not to be obvious, but Springsteen. Clearly. -
ndub answered: No matter what I pick here, I’d get sick of it because I plan to live until I’m 300 yrs old. -
bradleygarwood answered: Buckethead. the sheer span of genres, and complexity of music, and the amount of albums. -

diva-ali reblogged this from hellamike and added:

halfwaynowhere answered: Michael Bolton. I celebrate his entire collection. For my money, it doesn’t get any better than when he sings “When a Man Loves a Woman.” -
fuiru answered: Definitely Tom Petty. He’s soundtracked just about every part of my life since I was 11. -
lafix answered: what a horribly impossible question -
gordonshumway answered: Two words: Robyn Hitchcock, especially if that includes the Soft Boys stuff. Also, he’s written, like 8 brazillion songs so I won’t get bored -
thetalkinghead answered: Zep! -
frageelaytwit answered: Dave Grohl (which would cover a few bands), though the Beck response is tempting, too. -
justfantastic answered: The Beatles. In part because I already own pretty much everything they have ever done. -
everythinginthesky answered: Beck. The breadth of his musical taste and variety in upbeat/downbeat tunes. The rest of my life = variety required. -
nicky36 answered: Probably the Beatles, while they aren’t my favorite ever I enjoy everything they did and there is a lot of variety. Or Tom Petty.
My answer is of course Bruce Springsteen. Josh Homme is a close second.
