When we moved into our new house and I saw the size of the garage I was thrilled, because I could finally have a work bench and a hobby shop.
A place of my own where I could work on projects, set up a half way decent photography studio, and basically do whatever I wanted with.
I was planning on building the whole thing, which wouldn’t have been too difficult… A few 4x4 posts, 2x4s for braces, and plywood for the shelves. It probably would have cost me about $250-300, plus time. Not too bad.
After browsing Amazon, I stumbled across a workbench kit. They send you the legs, and you put it together with lumber you provide. I was able to build the workbench for about $150, plus my time.
I’m very happy with the workbench, and my new workshop. Now I need some projects!
(My garage is a mess because there is still crap in there from the move that is slowly being unpacked and moved out into the house.)
