My Morning Jacket - Librarian →
Thank you for putting My Morning Jacket on the Elizabethtown soundtrack, Cameron Crowe. This movie was my first introduction to this band.
I was really disappointed in the movie but both volumes of the soundtrack are amazing.
No one puts a soundtrack together like Cameron Crowe.

Ali is in Breaux Bridge, LA this weekend for her sister-in-law’s baby shower and I fell asleep on the couch pretty early and it’s too late to call her now.
This is one of the very few times in our almost five years together that we haven’t said “good night” to each other.

Sometimes it pays to call a company and complain
It pays $10.
I ordered ink on Amazon on Sunday, and since I have Amazon Prime I should have gotten in on Wednesday. I was out of town Wednesday and Thursday and forgot about the ink until today.
I tracked the package and see that I won’t be getting the ink until Monday. UPS is totally at fault here but when I called Amazon they made it right and gave me a $10 credit to use on a future purchase. That’s good business.
And I got a real live person in less than a minute with no phone menus. That is EXCELLENT business.

I watch Love Actually every year around Christmastime (because I’m such a girl), and yet someone else had to point out Betty Draper.
This knowledge ruins the scene for me. Poor Colin will be going to bed with a cold, manipulating housewife.
Ali and I watch Love Actually every Christmas, too. I’ll have to remember to look for Mrs. Draper.
